Dr C. P. Dwivedi holds a PhD in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, an MS in VLSI
Technology, and an MBA in Operations Management. He currently serves as Deputy Chief Engineer
(R&D) at ITI Limited, Bangalore, a Government of India undertaking under the Ministry of
Communications.
He is the recipient of the prestigious “Sharm Shri” Award, conferred by the Honorable Prime
Minister of India, and has been honored with numerous commendation letters and awards from ITI
Limited for his exemplary service and technical contributions.
Dr Dwivedi possesses extensive experience in research, development, and production testing of
digital switches and exchanges. His contributions span the entire project lifecycle, from
conceptualization to integration. His key areas of expertise include:
Live test processes for CSN and Alcatel Base Transceiver System (BTS) Evaluation A-9100
Integration testing of the C-DOT Exchange for ISDN
Deployment of CCS#7 signaling and V 5.2 protocol for Wireless in Local Loop
Technical support for rack integration of CSN and OCB 283 platforms
Supervision of repair and maintenance systems including ARCOUEST, MTCO, VARECH,
MACHPRO, MIMPRO, and TLP
Dr Dwivedi has also contributed to the development and implementation of IP-MPLS protocols on
core routers for national communication projects. His ongoing research focuses on:
Enhancing network security through the use of 512-bit encryption keys
Optimal implementation of the AES-512 algorithm
Real-time communication using 1024-bit symmetric encryption and decryption algorithms
He has led several mission-critical defense and strategic initiatives, including:
System architecture and analysis for the IRNSS-RS project for defense applications
